Meditation Techniques & Methods
Meditation is used to access your higher consciousness and inner Self. This place within you has incredible power, clarity and peace. It can assist you in getting anywhere you want to go in life.
I use various meditation techniques to manage day to day stresses and anxieties. Meditation involves focusing and entering a state of concentration with attention on an object of thought or awareness. Guided Meditation involves having someone to assist you in the process.
Many times when you are new to meditation and you want to learn, it is helpful start with guided meditations and to have a guide or a coach. Through guided meditation I help you through meditation techniques that you can learn and practice. I help you turn your attention inward to your mind, body and spirit.
Some meditation methods include types of creative tools such as art, symbols, archetypes and others that help a person to imagine things more effectively. Imaging is a powerful tool because we can mentally visualize faster than we can process in the concrete world. So the meditation methods and tools I've put together are unique for helping the process along.
One basic key to meditation is to focus on something either internal or external, like a sound, internal image, or object. One of the best things is focusing on your own breath. My article, a guided meditation of sorts, "Practice One Minute Breathwork" tells you how to use this type of meditation technique.
